How can school be done in 4-days?

We Trust Families

A 4-day model allows us to remove the "fill" that accompanies a typical 5-day school week. This does not compromise the experience of education, but rather partners with families in this endeavor. We offer core education in the fields of study that builds learning and thinking skills, while the family is afforded invaluable time to spend together and share experiences.

Practice & Prepare

Fridays offer time for practice and preparation for the next week's classes. Rather than an abundance of homework each night, Fridays are a part of the education week where parents are afforded the opportunity to observe their students practicing what they have learned.

Integrated Fields of Study

When history, literature, writing, and reading are integrated, rich discussion ensues. These deep conversations continue around the table with families, they pour into the lunch room and continue as conversations week after week. This is a deeper dive into learning. Rather than  mile wide and inch deep education we go a mile deep and study a narrower field. We are training students how to learn rather than "what to learn."
